A home workshop, not a factory line.
TODO_CONTENT — the owner's answers to who makes these, why she started and how the workshop runs are still pending. Nothing on this page is invented in the meantime.
What she's fussy about
“I won't ship a scrunchie if the stitch count on the closing gap looks uneven.”
Materials
What goes into each piece
Fabric — Satin, not net
A satin face is what makes the difference to hair. Cheaper hair ties use a stiff net that looks similar in a photo and behaves nothing like it.
Core — Covered elastic
The elastic is covered inside the fabric tube, so nothing rough ever touches hair, and the band doesn't cut in as it stretches.
Finish — Blind stitch
The closing gap is stitched by hand so the seam disappears. It takes longer and it's the part machines skip.
